I like to use the latest version of an OS to develop with as this can save you many hours of your time. Seems like each version becomes more stable and thus an asset to development. The worst time I had was when I had to use Windows 3.11 and VFP 3.0. I convinced the client to go to win 95, which at the time seemed like heaven!
