The VB guys just seemed to appear slowly by stealth after management decided to reduce exposure to foxpro after the last big scare about 3 years ago ago. So far they have only been working on the smaller apps. They are my friends but I get fed up fighting my ground trying to prove that VFP is the better tool for the type of work we do.

Since all the vital work is done via various version of Foxpro I am kept busy in those areas so have little time to become current with the latest technology. I think it is important for my future to get a piece of the web work for myself.

The VB guys have the luxury that the world will not stop spinning if their apps dont work ;) As a result they get the time to play around with all the new stuff.

In the forthcoming meeting we will be deciding which direction the web enabled apps should go.
