The executable is being run locally on each workstation, the data of course, is on the server. I am using a resource file, which is also located on the workstation. In fact, I verified that there was not an instance of it on the server and also tried running the app using no resource file.

Are you asking about the resource file because it will cause a problem when multiple users try to access it? Or can the resource contribute to enhancing the performance?
