Thanks for the response (even if it is a bit late <g>). Actually, I'm not even working for the same company anymore. At the time, I tried the ProvideX ODBC driver with VFP and it was crashing VFP. I worked w/ProvideX tech support and we tracked the problem down to the way VFP was responding to the ODBC driver. Basically, it was a VFP bug. If it works, they must have patched the code (since I haven't seen any updates from Microsoft - I e-mailed them with our results).
