No idea!

but a few things for you to try...

Is the table Readonly
Do you have Access rights to the table (both in terms of attributes and NT security)
Try SP2 for Win2k
Failing that.. you're into the usual VFP checks.. tmp files (& security), Resource files etc.

>Hello All,
>I have a strange problem concerning Tableupdate(), I call the function from a method in my Cursor class ( Save ) as follows, TableUpdate(2,.t.,This.Alias), it has performed faultlessly for 4 yrs until now. Although it returns .t. the updates are not being committed, as it doesn't generate an error I can't use Aerror(). I've checked all the usual culprits send SQL updates , buffering is set to optimistic table etc... all to no avail, the OS is Win2K pro, VFP6 SP5 data is on a Novell network ( always has been ), this is only affecting one local view which I've deleted , redefined and sworn at, if anybody has any ideas please help, this has stumped me for a day now
