I've just been informed by someone who is about to buy 7.0 (who was informed by the sales rep for the product , not MS) that they would also have to purchase, separately for some $200 extra, the packs that would entitle you to upgrades and patches. Supposedly, this would have to be purchased when 7.0 is purchased.
Has anyone else run into this? I'm about to order 7.0 today but would like to see some comments from others who have purchased it.
