Gerry;

I saw a Beetle float in a parking lot in Orlando, Florida, after 14" of rain fell in two hours. My 1969 Beetle floated about 100 feet while I was driving it on hiway 101 from San Francisco to Belmont, California after a rain storm. That was frightning!

When we sold our Beetle I promised myself and God I would never ride in one again! That was 30 years ago and so far so good. You can keep "the peoples car", Corvair's, Fiat 350's and anything that resembles them. Walking is a much better option!
