"What is Delphi 6?". The next one
"What are Web Services and why is this an emerging market? " and
"What is the Borland's.Net strategy?" made me think if that's a kind of different .NET approach to address the same problems of web development (sorry but I know nothing deeper about .NET than just general marketing issues).

Fernando;
We use Delphi at our corporation and we are not allowed to use Visual FoxPro. Other tools we use include Visual Basic and Visual Interdev. I was hired as a Visual FoxPro developer and am still trying to convince management I should be allowed to use VFP when I think it is appropriate.
If you have not done so I suggest you go to:
http://www.borland.com/delphi/personal/You can download a free personal copy of Delphi 6.0 and work with it. I use many tools and like to use the best tool for the job. This is one that is worth using IMO. As you know Delphi does not have a data engine.
I also do not understand Gerry's statement “Delphi doesn't compete with VFP; it competes with VB (and VC)”. Perhaps perception, feelings or reality. My view is different as they all have some degree of competition for market share IMO.
