It's just figures like that get me interested - what sort of demand is there for exabyte (10^18) storage. What sort of applications require it - with 6 billion people in the world, thats around 2.5 Gb per person. Current estimates of numbers of stars in the galaxy are around 200 billion, so around 80Gb per star in the galaxy.

Wonder what the access time is like on databases that big.
