I actually don't recall (I don't think I have). I would certainly give Winternals a call and ask them. I think that the data is still there (at a low level) when someone deletes a file from the command prompt.

I have used there tools to get into NTFS systems where the Admin password was forgotten...you can use there tools to boot on a DOS floppy and inspect/copy files. Pretty good stuff.

Please let me know if it works. I hope you get the problem solved (and get a good backup system working for them *grin*)
