I have recently installed Win2K OS (SP 2) and am running VFP6, Fox 2.6 (DOS and Windows) on a Novell Netware 5 based LAN.

Everything appears to be working fine until I leave the PC idle for 5 or 10 minutes after which it appears that the connection to tables etc on the server has failed. Some tables are no longer usable etc. Task Manager informs me that the the app is 'not responding' and although in most cases it lets me kill the task, the system seems "memory compromised" since I subsequently get 'insufficient memory' messages until I re-boot.

I suspected that it might be an OS problem except that it only seems to apply to FoxPro - Office apps and Explorer all work OK.

I have searched MSDN and UT for info on this and not found anything. Can anyone throw any light on this mystery?
