I think you're right about this, Barbara, but I have a pretty simple setup
at work (one HD, Win95-only, no SCSI) and I still run into problems. I
probably get fewer than those with the setups you describe, though. Let's
face it Microsoft owns the ball in this game. It shouldn't be that way but
it is. They don't have to play the game by anyone's rules but their own.
The IE4 uninstall issue is a great example of this. They can keep shafting
us and we keep coming back for more because there's nowhere else to go.
