Well at least you got a response. I have yet to get any response and I've emailed and called. Their secretary said the main guy was on vacation but she would have his partner call me, which never happened.

The only solution that I've been able to find without Compaxion is a U.S. Post Office API which they license for $5000/year plue a premium of about $4.00 per application CD distributed. I would love to avoid this cost but all Compaxion will say via email is that they do not license Compaxion in the US.

>>Well we bought compaxion over two years ago and we use it in a product in production. This is the first I've heard that it is no longer available in the US. For the last week I've been trying to find out if there is an update out there for VFP7. The current fll that I have will not load in VFP7.

>>As far as how well it works? Well we use it to compress a 550 MB dbf and it's 300+ MB cdx into a 48MB file. It only took a couple of lines of code to implement and it works great. The only downside is it's not multi-user but neither is our product.

>>>The software Compaxion, which compresses the whole file and allows you to read that file in compressed form, would probably have worked but the makers of Compaxion will not license it in the U.S. I asked them why but they won’t say.
