We just installed an HP JetDirect 500 print server with 3 ports. For a FPDos app we need to redirect LPT1 uotput to a printer in that server.

Unfortunatelly, I don't know how to do it from a Win2000 terminal. We normally redirect output to printers that are attached to a peer terminal by running a batch file that issues the command: NET USE LPT1 \\machinename\sharename. However, I have no idea what would be the name of the HP JetDirect print server, becausee we use SPX/IPX, and not TCP/IP. I imagine in the later case the print server would have an IP address.

Does anybody have experience with this situation?
