Whats an example of your gcCondition? If its somethign that can't be Eval()ed, why will & work on it? & runs code, it doesn't necesarily return anything so that woudln't work in an IIF().

Anyways, you have you tried either _vfp.DoCmd() or _vfp.Eval()?
