You should try swimming in Lake Superior if you think the water around here is cold. The day following the 103 temp at the place we were staying, we went to Whitefish point about an hours drive north. Air temp there was an awesome 74, water temp was ICE COLD. It was great. Hated going back to the cabin and the much warmer 95 after that.

I've always thought it was great to go swimming where you can actually see the bottom <g>. I kinda get disgusted when I go down south and see kids swimming in water where there is so much algae floating around.
