set talk off

If a form is set to a private data session, it will have it's own
set talk,
set exact
set default
set near
set....

You have to set them explicit per form.
You might want to put any such settings in the load event of the form (or even the baseclass form definition of your framework then it will be applied the same across the board for ALL forms).
