I noticed there was a difference at less than 750 records, but it wasn't too bad (I'm sure it would have been similar to your times if actually measured). I just picked 750 because at that point, it's fairly obvious that something's fishy. With larger tables, you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see a slow down. The larger the table the less distance you actually have to scroll to see it, though it may just be a certain number of records when this slow down kicks in.

I didn't send a sample form as it was just drop a ListBox and change 2 properties, easy enough to reproduce. The 750+ record sample could be reproduced with a couple of lines of code, but I figured everybody had a table that they could use as a sample. < g >
