federal law about child support payments. Washington state legislature fought against it, but it got overridden because of said federal law.
Fincancially institutions can require it IF they account is tax related. But, they can't require it for things such as loan applications in order to run a credit check. Child support payments .. ok.. I'll go along with that one. If someone is such a bum that they can't pay support for their kids, this money should be collected from their paycheck.
