>I have VFP 7.0 on a W98 SE machine with 256 meg of memory, a Diamond Viper V770 Ultra card (uses nVidia TNT2 chipset), IE 5.5. I have created a form with a user defined method in the form. The method is called 'ValidateVendor'. When I invoke this method from a command button on a form, I type in 'thisform.' and the intellisense pops up with the PEM's. I select 'ValidateVendor' and then type a left open parenthesis. At that point, after typing the parenthesis, I get a C000005 Fatal exception. I have been able to reproduce this error in this form several times. It also seems to happen on user defined methods of other forms.

Nope, that one I don't see (I'm running W2K/SP1 with a nVidia TNT2, but I have had to turn down the video acceleration (not for VFP, but for other programs that left "artifacts" on the screen). You may have a corrupt form. Try doing a COMPILE FORM and see if that clears it up. I'm running VFP7, Build 9262.
