I want to programmatically look at the structure of a table, similar to when you type MODI STRUCT in the command window and can see the structure, but I want to grab some info from the structure such as field length and field type (character, date, whatever) and stick it in my data dictionary without having to manually look it up and do it?

I saw ALTER LTABLE - SQL command, but I don't think that will help me do this.

Thanks for the help.
