Utilities that will convert a VFP report to a Word document will have some problems to overcome. The best way is to use OLE automation and just send your data directly from VFP to a Word document or template and not use the VFP report writer at all.
What I did was create placeholders [variables] in a Word document where VFP data needed to be inserted. I placed these variables between {} to make them distinguishable from actual Word text. I then call Word's Search and Replace utility from VFP to replace these variables with the appropriate data from VFP.
There are somewhat easy ways to create strings in VFP that can be sent to the Word document then converted to Word tables as well.
