Hi!

I don't know. I know for sure that when I tried to upload and then download ZIP archive on SQL Serevr using text field file, I got it corrupted no matter what I did, and all corruption was the extracting of all these 2 bytes combinations from the content. It is possible that .DOC file never contain such bytes combination, but who knows DOC format so well? ;)

>The workaround idea is to try to use memo field to update data on SQL server. Do not use text field type on the SQL Server, it corrupts binary data when data contain codes 'C50A'.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
