>>>I am in need of a good add on tool to let my users do ad-hoc reports. I have used Foxfire! (not the latest version) with limited success. Users complain of how slow it runs and its complexity. I have seen the "Query Maker" product by Strategic Edge, Inc. It looks easier to use. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about these products?

>I have used Query Maker. I can't compare it to FoxFire though. It uses a work around to use the report writer from VFP, which I don't like. It is too difficult for most of my users, and after hours of trying, can't get the proper report writer toolbar to come up. You have to go in and modify the code yourself if you want to relate multiple tables in multiple directories, its a PITA. You also have to work around some multi-user issues.
>Its ok, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone before they seriously looked at the demo.
Thanks for the info Brian, you saved me some time.
