Dean,
This won't help this time around, but in the future, publish "minimum" specs that your app is designed to run on and that it "may run" on other configurations. Then you can just recommend that they upgrade to get adequate speed performance out of your apps.
>I have a client who is running my app. on a Pentium 200 MHZ machine with 64 MB RAM. He complains the app. is running a little slow. My other clients (10 of them) are running fine with Pentium II (or better) about 350 MHZ and 128 MB RAM.

>I've advise the first customer to maybe upgrade his machine. He is reluctant to do so (he is a cheapo, if you know what I mean). Don't know what else to say to him. The app. was originally written in VFP 3.0 but I have converted to VFP6.0 (I'm a little weary about VFP7.0) with many added features. Yet he is reluctant to upgrade his 5 year old machine.
