>Marketing generally focuses on what customers want. If product stability is a key feature which it obviously is for VFP, then that is a priority. VFP 7 is the most stable and least buggy version of VFP ever released, don't expect the high quaility to go away based on new features added to future versions.

I agree.. VFP7 is extremely stable. I'm working on the PO at work to upgrade all our developers to VFP7. I've been using my beta version for sometime and am currently using my MSDN subscriber download version.

As for marketing focusing on what customers want, I totally agree. I work for a software company and marketing brings numerous requests. We also have to deal with lots of govenment regulations.
