I'm not sure I've put this in the correct section so apologises if its in the wrong one.

I have been given the task of controlling a video camera connected to a PC via a "All in wonder 128 pro Video Capture Card"

No problems running it manually, i.e. I can open the ATI program click on the capture button and save the frame to the disc - Wonderful.

The problem I have is that I want to be able to launch and control the program from within my VFP5 (or 6) application. i.e. the user presses a key within my application, I take a snapshot of whatevers on the screen at the time and save it to disk.

My question is, HOW? I assume I need a series of API calls but where can I find the information I need, what calls etc. ATI's web page is not much help.

I'm assuming it would be as simple as controlling, say Word or Excel,

Can anyone help with at least pointing me in the right direction.
