Well of course he is, but would it make any difference if it were the full version or the upgrade? I think not, hence my extrapolation to his desire to keep the VFP6 active should the need arise. Now what would be the difference in keeping VFP alive between the full version and the upgrade ? Perhaps some subtle difference in the coding ? Does the upgrade do something to VFP6 ? I think not, only the price. So.....

But whatever, it brought the thought to my brain so I tagged on and asked the question.
