It always happened to me if I start vfp with no default folder set and open last project enabled. Then go into a form and create a method with a parameter line. Go into antoher method and call the first method with thisform.mymethod( as soon as you try to enter the parameter you get the error. if I used a default folder other than vfp then I did not get the message.
