There seems to be a dearth of organisation here in the antipodes. It could have something to do with our cultural resistance to such things, but there are times when it's useful to be able to get a message to all interested fox developers in the region.

For example, if MS were to be having a launch event in Australia or were to (gasp) start promoting VFP as a development tool here, then these are things I, as a local VFP developer would like to know about. Or if someone organised a Fox conference for somewhere in the region, again, I'd like to be able to find out about it.

To this end, I've set up a page on my web site where interested local(ish) developers can register and as news comes to hand about local VFP stuff, I'll send an e-mail. I absolutely will not be using the list for anything other than keeping people informed about Fox-specific happenings, and it will always be easy to get removed from the list if you're not happy with the content that's coming down the line.

The sign-up page is http://www.civilsolutions.com.au/optinaufox.htm

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
