Generally there are service packs released before a major new vesion is released, but nothing is announced at this time. You shouldn't expect anything in the 'near future' as VFP 7.0 is incredibily stable, and I recommend developers upgrade to VFP 7.0 now and not wait, especially since VFP 7.0 is more stable than VFP 6.0 plus there are so many new productivity features beyond intellisense. Anyone who uses VFP 7.0 on a daily basis has a very difficult time going back to VFP 6.0 because of the lack of intellisense and other new high productivity features in VFP 7.0. Plus, you can create/edit apps with VFP 7.0 and deploy them with VFP 6.0 if you need to for clients/solutions as long as you don't use any of the language features or new system menu items, etc.
