Hi All,

I have a strange problem with COM Component Install Wizard in my Windows 2000 Professional at home. When I try to add new component from already registered in Component Services, an it is trying to build the list of components - it takes forever (so far I waited for half an hour with no result). I see in the Task Manager that it is working and eats 95-99% of CPU. If I try to Cancel, it stops responding and I have to kill it. Building the component list on my Win 2000 PC at work takes only several seconds. I installed Win2K Service Pack 2 - still no result. I had VS.NET Beta 1 on my home PC previously installed. COM Explorer utility builds similar list of installed DLLs with no problem.

Any ideas except reinstalling Windows?
