Yes, Renoir, it does. That's why I don't clear history (any more). I can still clear the cache without hurting history.
I've also noticed that some sites don't seem to make it into the drop-down. So I double-check and fiddle until it goes into the list. I wish I knew what conditions prompted this reaction by IE (to not put it into the list). I also wish I knew how it is that IE can dredge up things that don't appear in the list but nevertheless show up (auto-complete?) as I start typing into the address area. These MS products all have so many "features" but very little help to learn of them or about them. In some cases I later learn that there is help, but you have to know what the feature is called. I've never figured out how to do that (learn its official name).
