Does anyone know of a way to create or read a file that is on a shared network drive which is password protected? I am guessing that I need to programatically access or log into the password protected drive first. The reason I say this is because when I first log into the machine through the Windows Explorer, I can read and write to the drive just fine. But, until I log in I get a runtime error '-2147022778(80070846)' Method 'OpenTextFile' of object 'IFileSystem3' failed, when trying to create a file on the shared drive. I am just not sure on how to supply a user name and password to the machine before I try to connect to it.
