>I installed a VFP7 app today, and when I ran it, I got the error, VFP support library not found, or whatever, right? Well, first of all, I ran the install. Second of all, usually when VFP7 apps run without the run time, you'll get a message about MSVCR*.dll not being registerd.

>What happened was, I installed it on 2000 as Administrator, but ran it as someone else. The user had rights to it, but the VFP7 dlls weren't registered.

>I ran:

>regsvr32 "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\vfp\vfp7r.dll"
>regsvr32 "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\vfp\vfp7renu.dll"
>regsvr32 "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\vfp\vfp7t.dll"

>from teh command prompt while logged in as the other user, and then the app popped up.

>Everyone else seeing this? Why does registering DLLs only register it for teh current user, and when will the VFP7 merge module get fixed so I don't have to do this?

Mike, I can't answer your question but....
Like I said on other threads, I'm VERY weary about moving to VFP7.0 because of the "unknowns".
