>Delphi 3 has the ability to compile its own native controls to activex. I have tried using some activex controls created with Delphi3 and as soon as I drop them on a form it causes a gpf error. I was wondering if anyone else has been able to do this?

I haven't tried it. However, there are two things to try. First, disable the ActiveX Dual Interface with sys(2333,0) before you drop the control. Secondly, for runtime, set _vfp.autoyield = .F., so VFP and the control don't bang heads.
