this site has something new I am looking into which allows VFP to communicate with the winsock directly. which does in effect allow someone to write a full chat room or whatever, using nothing but VFP.


As far as getting a chat room with Microsoft. you could use netmeeting from inside VFP. in just a few lines of code. (article in last months advisor on how its done. )
