I just found this message and am not sure if someone else suggested this ... Look in the registry. It's in there with your connecting device (modem, NIC, etc.)in the parameters key I believe. Unfortunately, it's different depending on your OS. That's the most dependable place to find it. The Winsock.localip and parsing the ipconfig command isn't reliable in multi-homed systems.
