Hello Chaps/Chapesses

An interesting thinking point, we are as an organisation, looking at new ways of licencing our Foxpro Applications.

At the moment we have a licence application that sits in with the main data on the server this app then locks records in a licence table as users go into the system. This "surprisingly" works very well. So why change it? Well on large sites locking take can a while ie 100 user +.

Anyone else go any interesting ideas? I think its an issue most application developers are interested in ie you cant keep track of all sites, and you dont want to make it to easy for users/it admin to increase their user base as their company grows without purchasing extra licences.

I would be interested to know how other people do it.
