I have just starting using Visual Source Safe with Visual Foxpro files (Visual Studio 6 SP4).

I can add VFP program files to a VSS database but when I try to view or edit the files from within VSS I get a "Error execution: DDE Connection" error (VSS is set to use VFP as default viewer) . If I ok this, VSS then launches VFP and executes the programs (not good!).

If I add a VFP project to VSS and attempt to view the contents of any Foxpro file in the popup VSS history window I get the same DDE error and files execute in the case of program files. This time VFP crashes.

I have tried VFP+VSS on a number of machines with the same results. Any ideas?
