Crystal Reports was a consideration I made, but due to timescales involved in Training etc. I decided to do it in HTML.

I've had to do the majority of it by code, basically create the report file in HTML format and then let the user view the finished file - it has helped in a way because a lot of my reports had to be flexible, so dynamically creating them made some things easier.
