>I have a distributed application written in FPW 2.6. We have **hundreds** of terminals running this application, but today I got a call from someone who said that some of the functions are causing her Windows 95 computer to lock up. After investigating, I found that any place where the RUN command is executed to run DOS based file functions, the computer completely freezes.

The PC's may have too much memory for the Foxpro run command. Try setting up a PIF file that limits the amount of memory available to the run command. Also, some of the defaults for DPMI, etc also cause a problem.
