There is some info about MSI tweaking available. The URL below purports to show how to force a reboot after your install, among other things.

Please note I don't specifically endorse any of these sites or their contents, but I wanted to point out that this type of information exists. A big advantage of VFP7 shipping with a Windows Installer based deployment mechanism is that tweaks, etc., from other installler deployed products should be in many cases applicable.
