You'll have to excuse me, but I'm a bit emotional at the moment. You see I just replaced the mouse that I've been using at work. I've grown quite attached to it. It first saw service some 10 years on a the Compaq 386/20E. Over the last ten years it's been my mouse on a variety of 486, Pentium, and Pentium II boxes. It's one of the original Microsoft mice (the "Soap Bar") and I always loved it because it was both durable and I loved the feel. In contrast, I had to replace the mice that came as original equipment on 2 home boxes. < sniff >

Anyway, when I replaced the most recent one at home, I got an Microsoft optical mouse, and I absolutely love it. So when I got a new box here at the office, I got a new Microsoft IntelliWeb optical mouse...AND IT KICKS. So long, "Soap Bar".:-)
