What happens if you set the Left justify on for both the detail and the sum ??

this implies a non-proportional font (like courier)

>I don't know why it would have to be bigger... I've always kept them the same size for easier alignment and never had a problem before. The sum is shifted to the left of the detail numbers by one character. Both the detail and the sums are right aligned. The boxes themselves are lined up perfectly and have plenty of room to fit the whole number.
