>>You'll have to excuse me, but I'm a bit emotional at the moment. You see I just replaced the mouse that I've been using at work. I've grown quite attached to it. It first saw service some 10 years on a the Compaq 386/20E. Over the last ten years it's been my mouse on a variety of 486, Pentium, and Pentium II boxes. It's one of the original Microsoft mice (the "Soap Bar") and I always loved it because it was both durable and I loved the feel. In contrast, I had to replace the mice that came as original equipment on 2 home boxes. < sniff >

>>Anyway, when I replaced the most recent one at home, I got an Microsoft optical mouse, and I absolutely love it. So when I got a new box here at the office, I got a new Microsoft IntelliWeb optical mouse...AND IT KICKS. So long, "Soap Bar".:-)

VFP.
Well, easily the mouse wheel makes browsing a table, scrolling method code, etc., much easier. Further, it allows me to easily change the font size in the help file, making it larger or smaller. That's good for me because of my poor eyesight.
>Can you use those new buttons on the side with
VFP?
No, the only place that they seem to work is within the browser
