i have a great problem with buffering of row,
i use a view that update a table with row buffering,
my program exec a series of insert sql on the table,
if that program run alone the performance is like a direct insert on the table
but if that program run on two or more istances the performance
drop down seriously and on the bar stat of a windows i can read "Attemping to lock..."

i don't understand why is necessary a lock if an insert lock only the header
and the table is open in shared mode.

can you help me?
it's a serious problem because the performance in shared access are compromised.
