Just got through doing this exact task -- Win2k SP2, Uninstalling VS.NET beta 1, installing VFP 7. It took me over 3 hours and I had difficulties along the way, in particular, each time I attempted to do the full unintall my system hund up.

What I finally ended up doing was to uninstall the individual components of VS.NET, meaning that I ran the uninstaller 3 or 4 separate times, each time unstalling the next component in the tree (next checkbox in the 2nd level) There may have been an easier way, but at least I was finally able get VFP 7 up and running.
