What I mean by missing index is that the index file itself is deleted from the database directory. It looks like somebody might have
done it, but I would just like to know is there any other technical reasons this situation might occur. For your information, the
database reside in a WinNT4 server while the application runs on each client with Win98. Since the database is shared, every user
can also access the database directory if they were to manipulate the files. How do we overcome this ? Really appreciate your ideas..
