my apologies if this seems like a simpleton type of question ...

i have one VFP application where the .EXE and tables are stored
on a shared network drive. i have 3 users accessing that app,
and to get the necessary libraries available to them on their
machines, i just installed the project to the same directory on
the shared network drive from each of their machines. it works
fine.

now, a developer here that supports SBT software has the SBT
files stored on a shared network drive and has 3 or 4 users accessing
it. she was not involved with the set up of SBT, but claims that
it was not installed from any of the users machines, and that
no libraries were put on the users machines.

is that possible ?

i thought perhaps that someone had created an empty (dummy) project
and installed that on each of the users machines to get the VFP
run-time libraries on each of the users mahcines. will be checking
that, but just wanted to find out of there was some trick i
didn't know about.

thanks
patrick
